Manager – Production (Panels)

Job Title: Manager – Production -Panels
Function: Production
Location: Navi Mumbai
Reporting to: Partner

A. ROLE PURPOSE
Responsible for managing a large and dynamic team, overseeing production planning, execution and excellence and ensuring the highest quality of output.

B. KEY POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Sr. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage a large team of supervisors, operators, and technicians.
  2. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  3. Drive production efficiency to meet targets and financial goals.
  4. Develop and execute production plans to meet customer orders and maintain optimal inventory levels.
  5. Monitor and adjust production schedules as needed.
  6. Ensure the successful implementation of SAP in collaboration with the IT department.
  7. Collaborate with Sales and Stores to ensure smooth operations.
  8. Align production schedules with Estimation & Stores teams to meet customer demand.
  9. Ensure product quality meets or exceeds industry standards.
  10. Implement and maintain quality control processes.
  11. Projects: Troubleshooting electrical panel issues during testing.

D. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; MBA is a plus.
Experience: Proven experience in production management, preferably in a manufacturing environment related to controllers or electronics.

E. KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIREMENT

Technical Skills:
● Experience with SAP implementation is highly desirable.
● Proficient in production planning and inventory management.
● Understanding of quality assurance processes and practices.

Behavioral Skills:
● Strong leadership and team management skills.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
● Customer-focused with the ability to engage effectively with clients.
